Stamp amulet of a monkey
A blue glazed composition amulet of a striding man with the head of a monkey. It has a pierced suspension ring at the back, and dates to the Twenty-sixth Dynasty. It is on long-term loan from the British Museum who acquired it in 1866 from Louis Charles Pierre Casimir de Blacas d'Aulps.
