Description

This carnelian scaraboid is in the shape of a duck. The base is inscribed with the prenomen of Merenptah. It is on long-term loan from the British Museum who acquired it in 1939 from Marion Whitford Acworth, and was previously part of the collection of her husband Joseph John Acworth.
