Ageis of Hathor
This blue/green glazed composition amulet is in the form of the aegis of Hathor. It is double-sided and pierced longitudinally. It dates to the Third Intermediate Period and is on long-term loan from the British Museum who acquired it in 1837 from the dealer/auction house Phillips.
