Description

This blue/green glazed composition amulet is in the form of the aegis of Hathor. It is double-sided and pierced longitudinally. It dates to the Third Intermediate Period. On long-term loan since 2005 from the British Museum who acquired it in 1837 from the dealer/auction house Phillips.
