Description

Small greeny-grey stone vessel with fat base, which has a projecting lip, a globular to squat body, and a cusp rim. Gifted to the Egypt Centre in 2021 by Selena Elcombe, the granddaughter of Stanley Raymond. Stanley was an artist who worked for the epigraphic survey of the Oriental Institute of Chicago during the 1930–40s, when these objects were brought back from Egypt.
