This small globular jar is made from Nile silt tempered with limestone. The limestone has then combusted leaving large craters all over the vessel surface. The vessel has a rolled rim with a rounded base. There is a red slip applied to the surface of the vessel. The vessel has been vertically burnished. There are black pen dots on the base of the vessel near the catalogue number. There are two catalogue numbers on the base of the vessel. The first being the previous catalogue number of '32/11' written in grey pencil onto a white rectangular sticker, and the current catalogue number of 'EC1335' printed in black onto rectangular paper sealed in resin.
