Description

Coarsely made funnel shaped vessel in red fabric. Height 80mm and width 62mm. This is probably an offering cone, though seems to be smaller than the Abydos examples. See K. Yamamoto 'Offering Cones from Middle Kingdom North Abydos' "" Cahiers de la céramique égyptienne 9 (2011): 555–566. These date to the First Untermediate Period to the Middle Kingdom.
