- Description
-
A copper alloy statue of Nefertum striding and with his arms pendant. His lower right leg and left arm are now missing. A suspension loop is located behind the head, which might indicate that it was worn for amuletic use. These figures date from the Late Period through the Ptolemaic Period. Gifted to the collection in 1978 by the British Museum as part of the dispersal of the residual material from the Egypt Exploration Society.
