Statue of Osiris
A figure of Osiris cast in copper alloy with a loop on the back. For a discussion on loops on Osiris figures, see Hill and Schorsch (2007, p. 183). It is suggested that these were used to display the artefacts on barques. It was a gift from the University Of Wales, Aberystwyth, and probably dates to the Graeco-Roman Period.
