This object is possibly a red pottery offering tray in a n oval shape. It has a kiln-like structure at each end, along with five elongated shapes attached to the floor of the tray, and also one shape at the base of each 'kiln'. It is possible these shapes may represent bodies. Offering trays are usually dated to the First Intermediate Period and Middle Kingdom. However, it is difficult to find parallels to this example. A parallel my be seen in Ivanov 2015. The trays discussed by Ivanov are Late period to Ptolemaic in date.
