Fragment of linen from a male shroud. Early–mid second century AD from Thebes. This is a fragment of the leg region of Osiris wearing a bead net over a red garment. A portion of the column of inscription is preserved. Purchased by Wellcome at auction in 1906 from the collection of Robert de Rustafjaell.
