Wooden funerary figure
A wooden funerary figure, likely a rower from a model boat due to its stance. The hole in the left side of the waist is deliberate and would have been for the attachment of an oar, or to secure it to the model boat. Similar figures originate from Beni Hasan in the early Middle Kingdom.
