A sherd from a carinated bowl of red, fine fabric burnished inside and out. It was excavated at Armant from the Badarian sunk huts in 1824. The excavation drawing classifies this as 'Nileware: PR'. P ware is red polished ware. The technical report by DM Billington describes this as 'red, polished with haematite inside and out.'
