Description

Stem section of wooden headrest. Fluted. D'Auria et al 1988 p78 shows Old Kingdom fluted examples as does Petrie 1927 'Objects of Daily Use' pl. XXX. Purchased by Wellcome at auction in 1928 from the collection of Charles Tabor.
