Description

This wooden figure is likely depicting a tomb owner due to its position. The lack of dowel holes in the arm sockets, the dowel in the seat, and the hole between the feet are unusual to such figures and therefore the authenticity of the figure is questionable, but the stylistic traits are similar to statues of the tomb owner dating to Sixth Dynasty Asyut.
