- Description
-
This is a small, hyperboloid bowl. It has a direct rim and a pedestal base. It is handmade with a red slip and a streaky burnish. There is a build-up of a cream coloured material on parts of the exterior and interior that has appeared on the vessel since production. The rim has been damaged and roughly a third of it has had a modern reconstruction prior to 1997. The vessel dates back to the Old Kingdom.
