This wooden figure is likely a rower from a model boat, who stylistically probably originates from the Twelfth Dynasty, Beni Hasan. The dowel in the base would have attached the figure to the boat. The right arm of the figure does not seem to match the left, and so this is likely an incorrect reassembling of the figure in modern times.
