Pottery vessel. Wellcome number 30907. Purchased by Wellcome at Sotheby's 11.11.1924, Lot 55 from the Hood Collection. 14cm high. Possibly from Amarna. Evidence that it comes from Amarna is based upon the Wellcome label reading 'XVIII C of A II 14'. The type is similar to, but not identical with C of A I plate LI, XXXIX/1011.B though has no handle. It has a flat base and straight rim. 14cm high. According to the sale catalogue most of the items from the Hood collection were from Thebes. The catalogue states that this item is ptolemaic.
