A wooden overseer shabti, as indicated by the kilt, dating to the New Kingdom (the kilt length is typical of the Nineteenth Dynasty. There would have been a group of nine worker shabtis with one overseer. The figure has black hair, a red face and hands, and black hieroglyphs down the centre. There are traces of a yellow glaze. The inscription reads: "Scribe of Divine Offerings of the House of Amun Ptahhotep". This figure is the same as W378. The shabti box for these shabtis is in Birmingham Museum. They are from the Frankland Hood collection sold in 1924. Most of the Hood items were, according to the sale catalogue, from the Theban area.
