Description

Late Period shabti, made of faience. Mummiform, with back pillar, and hieroglyphs in rows on the front. The hieroglyphs are possibly meaningless, perhaps a shortened version of the shabti spell. Broken into two halves and glued back together. This object belongs to the same group as EC617 and EC618. A similar shabti in the Petrie Museum (40336) is possibly named as Ipn-hnt-nbt'. Possibly from Nebesheh
