Description

Third Intermediate Period shabti made of blue/brown faience. The figure is shown wearing a tripartite wig and with arms crossed over the chest. A seshed-headband and seadbag are visible on the back in black ink. The eyes and mouth were originally painted black, although only traces survive today. Traces of hieroglyphs are also located on the front of the figure, although they are too difficult to identify the owner's name. Gift from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
