A bright blue glazed squat-shaped faience overseer shabti. The figure has the left arm crossed over the chest holding a whip while the right hand lies flat by her side. She wears a seshed-headband with long ribbons. The whip, headband, and eyes have been added with black paint. Being an overseer shabti, she is shown wearing a projecting kilt. An inscription, which identifies the owner as Henuttawy, is written on the front of the kilt and extends down to her feet. It is probably from Deir el-Bahri Cache 2 (Daressy A46, Bab el-Gasus, the tomb cache of the Priests of Amun discovered in 1891). Gift from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
