Wooden funerary figure, likely an offering bearer
One of a pair of wooden funerary figures (companion W448). These figures were catalogued whilst in the Wellcome collection as soldiers, but they seem more likely a male and female offering bearer (also referred to as porters). This female figure is in a standing position and depicted nude, the left hand raised to the shoulder (likely supporting a haunch of meat), and the right hand at her side, likely carrying a trussed fowl.
