Description

A crudely carved wooden shabti covered in gesso. Hoes have been depicted in black ink, while the wig has also been painted in black. A column of hieroglyphs has been added to the front of the figure in black ink. It possibly dates to the New Kingdom, and is part of the Woking Collection, which arrived to the Egypt Centre on long-term loan from Woking College in 2012 (Engel 2020).
