Fragment of linen shroud decorated with pattern to resemble netting and beads. This probably dates to the Roman Period. The inscription in the centre mentions "Western Thebes", which suggests a provenance. Purchased by Wellcome in 1906 from the collection of Robert de Rustafjaell.
