Handwritten manuscript of introduction to lecture given by Sgt Johnson of Egypt and the Levant. This states the film of the slides were taken in 1917 and the slides made in 1919. The manuscript refers to a newspaper cutting (EC1832) announcing work on the dam to rescue Philae from flooding.
