This figure was previously described as a female porter, although the intended gender of the figure is unclear, although a striding figure is typically male. Without the arms, it is difficult to determine whether this figure was indeed a porter, or indeed any type of activity. It likely dates to either the late First Intermediate Period or the early Middle Kingdom.
