Statue of Seth
A wooden statue of hippopotamus-headed man, likely the god Seth. Statues in wood are uncommon and images of gods from the Third Intermediate Period are usually cast in metal. Collected by Sir Henry Wellcome prior to 1912. When recorded in the Wellcome archives in 1925, the upper left arm was still intact.
