No civilisation of the past has aroused such enthusiastic and unabated interest as that of ancient Egypt. For many centuries, one of the most fascinating areas of exploration in Egypt has been the Valley of the Kings. The Valley was used as a necropolis for some of Egypt's greatest rulers, including Ramesses II, Thutmose III, Amenhotep III, and the "boy-king" Tutankhamun.
